Firearm Transfers
Although we at A&J Guns have a large inventory and great prices, we know that we can't sell every gun. If you reside locally but find the right gun at the right prices elsewhere we will be happy to handle your firearm transfer for $25.00. Please make sure the Store or Person includes a copy of their FFL or a legible copy of their driver's license if they are not a FFL holder, their name and phone number, and the name and phone number of the person we are recieving the firearm for. Additionally, if you can not legally possess the firearm, accessory, or device we are not allowed by law to release it to you (or your wife, mother, father, brother, sister etc.). We are a class III dealer. What's that?
Class Three (III) gun dealers are authorized to sell National Firearms Act (NFA) weapons.
These gun dealers can do everything your average neighborhood gun dealers can do, but they have also taken the extra time and effort to navigate the federal licensing process necessary to be able to legally sell those weapons restricted by the National Firearms Act. These weapons are Suppressors, SBR's (Short Barreled Rifles), SBS (Short Barreled Shotguns), AOW( any other weapon), and Machine Guns.
How To Buy A Class III Device
Suppressors, like machine-guns, are regulated under the National Firearms Act (NFA) of 1934, and are regulated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
The procedure for owning a silencer or machine gun may seem long and drawn out at first, but actually requires less paperwork than buying an automobile or home. The first step is to locate a Class 3 dealer, like A&J Guns in your state who either has in stock or will order the item you are interested in. Once the item you would like to purchase is in the hand of the FFL/SOT dealer a Form 4 will be filled out on-line and 2 complete copies will be printed out. The Form 4's must be filled out on both sides, with passport photos of the buyer affixed to the backside of the form. The buyer then has the Chief Law Enforcement Officer sign the rear of the Form 4's attesting the purchaser does not possess a criminal record and is not wanted. The two fingerprint cards must be completed and signed by a Law Enforcement agency.
